    The GCV170 engine is suitable for a wide range of home-use applications using an engine with a vertically oriented crankshaft such as lawn mowers where a fixed speed engine can work, and a band brake lever on the mower handle is present. Most commonly used on the Honda HR/N mower models, so its the direct replacement engine for?some?Honda mower models.
